Someone who makes it run, inside your organisation.
Advice is useful. Someone who stays until it runs is more useful.
For a set period, full-time or a few days a week, NRY takes a seat inside your organisation. We work next to the people who run the processes, choose where to start, get the first solutions running in the daily work and set up the ownership and the rules around them.
The goal is not to stay. It is to leave your team able to continue: the processes running, the knowledge handed over, and a clear view of whether you need a permanent role.
What you get
One lead for AI
One person responsible for getting AI working in your organisation, who can talk to the floor and to your IT suppliers in the same afternoon.
The first processes running
Not a roadmap, but solutions running in the daily work, tested on real cases, with the exceptions handled.
Rules and ownership
An AI register, a short AI policy, an owner per process and a check before anything new goes live.
Your team up to speed
The people who work with AI know how it works, where it goes wrong and when to step in.
A clean handover
Documentation, a named owner for what runs, and advice on the next processes and on a permanent role.
How we work
Understand and choose
The first weeks: the AI already in use, the processes with the most potential, and one process chosen with an owner and a measure of success.
Build and test
The first solution runs in the background next to your team, on real cases, until the numbers are clear.
Go live
Step by step: drafts first, then acting within agreed limits. The rules and ownership go in at the same time.
Hand over
Your team runs it from here. We agree what comes next, and whether a permanent role is needed.
When it fits
Nobody leads AI yet
IT keeps the systems running, the business has no time, and a permanent hire feels too early.
A project stalled after the pilot
It worked in the demo and never made it into the daily work.
You are preparing a permanent role
You want to find out what the role really involves before you recruit for it.
You need AI and operations in one person
Someone who understands both the process and the technology, and gets them to meet.
Questions and answers
What does an interim AI lead do?
Takes responsibility, for a set period, for getting AI working inside your organisation: choosing the first processes, getting them running in the daily work, setting up the rules and ownership, and handing over.
How long does an interim assignment last?
Usually a few months, full-time or a few days a week. Long enough to get the first processes running and the rules in place, short enough to keep the focus on the handover.
Is this the same as hiring a consultant?
No. A consultant usually delivers an analysis or an advice. An interim lead works inside the organisation, next to your team, and stays until the work runs.
Do you also build the solutions?
Yes, where that helps. We build on our own toolbox, Forge, and what we build is licensed to you. Where an existing tool is enough, we use that.
What happens when the assignment ends?
Your team runs what was built, with documentation and a named owner. We agree up front how the handover works, so nobody depends on us afterwards.
